Interviewing Customers No. 3

I learned from this assignment that there are similar models currently on the market and it is going to take a lot to differentiate this product from others currently in use. Overall, the people I interviewed seem that they would enjoy the product and benefit from it.

  1. Hi, Amy! First things first: I like your idea. I actually almost joined a "start-up competition" (if you can call it that) with some other people with this exact idea, so I am in support of it. In fact we have seen this happening to some degree at (I believe) Red Robin and other similar restaurants (perhaps Steak n' Shake does this as well, but I am not sure) - the customers input their own meals and beverages. I thought that your first interviewee was perfect because she had experience in this area. I thought that the interviews could have been a bit longer (and actually hearing the questions), but I am looking forward to seeing what more you can bring to the table.

  2. Hi Amy!
No Wait is a really neat idea! I personally love having the option to go into a restaurant and not wait in line or on other people for service. Sometimes you want to have a meal you normally would have to wait on, while now if you're in a hurry you can still have the same quality of meal! I agree that you would have to add a different side to make it stand out from the group but I think it could be done with gamification or an emphasis on the experience.
